How to Upgrade

To upgrade from a previous version:

  1. Stop Deskzilla if it is running.
  2. Back up your workspace.
  3. Run the downloaded executable file. Select the same installation directory to overwrite the older version.
  4. After launching the new version for the first time, run full synchronization with File | Synchronize menu.
  5. If you're using Bugzilla flags, Deskzilla needs to reload bugs from Bugzilla in order to get information about their flags. Use Right-Click | Reload Query from Server on the most generic query that you're using (like "All Open Bugs").

To upgrade from Deskzilla Lite to Deskzilla Pro, follow the usual upgrade steps. Make sure you have a license key ready.
