How to Upgrade

To upgrade from a previous version:

  1. Stop JIRA Client if it is running.
  2. Backup your workspace.
  3. Run the downloaded executable file. Select the same installation directory to overwrite the older version.
  4. After launching the new version for the first time, wait until background synchronization finishes.
  5. If you have been experiencing problems with the Database Values plugin in the previous versions of JIRA Client, right-click the most generic query (like All Issues) and select Reload Query from Server.
  6. Reload JIRA configuration using Connection | Reload JIRA Configuration.

To upgrade from JIRA Client Lite to JIRA Client Pro, follow the usual upgrade steps. Make sure you have a license key ready.
