JIRA Client 2.3.1 Minor Upgrade Released
August 20, 2010
Today we are releasing JIRA Client 2.3.1, a minor upgrade that addresses several issues reported recently.
First, JIRA Client is now able to log in to JIRA Studio integrated with Google Apps. Second, JIRA Client now properly supports most of the custom fields provided by the JIRA Toolkit plugin. A few other minor issues have been fixed; please see the change log for details.
Upgrade is recommended if you are affected by the above changes. To upgrade from a previous version:
- Backup your workspace.
- Install the new version over the old one and start JIRA Client.
- Reload JIRA configuration using Connection | Reload JIRA Configuration.
If you use any of the custom fields from JIRA Toolkit, please also do the following:
- Invoke Right-Click | Reload Query from Server on the most generic query that you are using.
- If any of your queries involving those fields stop working, please re-create them.
This version may be used in a free 30-day trial mode or with any JIRA Client license key with active maintenance subscription. JIRA Client Lite may be used freely with any JIRA server running on a Starter license, or with a JIRA server that hosts a sponsored open-source project.
As always, we'd like to know your opinion. If you are experiencing a problem or need a feature, please raise an issue in our issue tracker.
